Corporate responsibility in the supply chain

The companies of Schwarz corporate group, including the retail divisions Kaufland and Lidl and environmental division PreZero, as well as Schwarz Produktion, the Schwarz Corporate Soluitions companies, Schwarz IT, Schwarz Digital and the other Schwarz companies, recognize their responsibility to respect human rights and comply with environmental standards. The companies of Schwarz Group have made a commitment to uphold and reinforce social and environmental standards, to prevent them from being violated, and where necessary to provide suitable remedial action. Publishing our joint cross-divisional commitment on respecting human rights and environmental standards and our business partner code of conduct form the basis for compliance with our corporate due diligence obligation. To implement them, the companies of Schwarz Group have developed a multistage process during which they can interact with their stakeholders where required at any stage.

In order to ensure that the expectations of the companies in the Schwarz Group with regard to corporate diligence are also implemented in the supply chains, they expect all business partners to familiarize themselves with the relevant topics. Appropriate training courses are provided for this purpose.
